Filmmaking
Over the past few years I have begun a long overdue test of my abilities as a narrative filmmaker. Beginning with a feature documentary and continuing with short films towards a narrative feature, I hope to tell some oddball stories with oddball characters in a way that resonates with folks the same way they do with me.
Old Baby Truck
In 2026, I took a more personal and focused step forward with an exploration of my relationship with my grandfather. Starring the very truck that was passed down to me from him and my grandmother, Old Baby Truck is a short which takes an intimate glance at generational overlap.
Gary's Good Boy
In 2025, I began my journey of narrative filmmaking with my first short. Like anyone, I learned a lot from it and became all the more motivated to work towards a feature. It follows a man doing his best to find his dog in a surreal world and contend with his shameful past.
Couch Man
In 2022 I forayed into documentary filmmaking by capturing what I know best: the strange, obscure little world of downhill skateboarding.
It’s far from perfect but forming this footage-puzzle into a narrative remains the most challenging thing I’ve done.
